Qigong-yoga by Gayle Hubatch/Blue Heron Center

QiGong is also called Taoist Yoga. Qigong means cultivation of life force energy or energy exercise. The practice of qigong is simple. Mentally connecting with nature while moving gently as you breath slowly creates relaxation and allows energy channels to open and flow. Coordinating breath with specific movements allows the mind to be calm and the body to feel vibrantly alive. Qigong can be practiced by anyone anywhere.

Gayl Hubatch, OMD is a doctor of Chinese medicine and licensed acupuncturist for 28 years. Owner of Blue Heron Center in Lakeway, Gayl is also certified to teach qigong, tai chi and yoga.
