Macy Dot Neal is a 16 year old singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. She has been named a Top 5 Finalist for Rising Star by the Texas Country Music Association for three consecutive years. Austin area performances include SXSW, Rodeo Austin, ACL parties on South Congress, the cherished local tradition celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the Austin Trail of Lights at Zilker Metropolitan Park and numerous local venues including the historic Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos.
In addition to writing her own music, she plays the guitar and keyboard and enjoys all genres of music, with her favorite being Country and Christian. She is an enthusiastic entertainer who has been performing on stages since the age of two. Over the years she has been recognized with several honors including being named Lindale Idol twice, North Texas Youth Idol, and a finalist for junior newcomer of the year at the Gladewater Opry. In addition, she performed as a finalist in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame John Ritter Showcase for three years, the Nashville Spotlight Showcase at CMA Fest in Nashville for two years, and Nashville NAMM at the Kyser Showcase.
She has been blessed on her journey to open for artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Gary P. Nunn, Zane Williams, The Powell Brothers, Randy Rogers Band, Chris Colston, Craig Campbell, Chase McClanahan, Darrin Morris Band, Chrystal Yates, Wayland Hicks, Parmalee, Thompson Square, Riley Redding, Austin Layne, Brother Roscoe, and several others.
Outside of singing and performing, she is busy as a varsity cheerleader at Lake Travis High School and enjoys volunteering in her community. She loves being a normal teenage girl who is living life to its fullest, experiencing as much as she can, and spending lots of time with friends making memories that will be good material for a hit song someday!
Her dream is to live in Nashville and share her love of music and entertainment to bless the lives of others.
